Here is my other submission to Super Iam8bit. Have you ever wondered why Mario went into medicine? I know Princess Peach has a kind heart and likes to help others, so it is obvious why she is a nurse. I think Mario’s motives are a little more selfish.

I used a World of Simpsons Dr. Hibbert body for Mario. The head is a head from a 5′ vinyl Mario, and the hair is sculpted. Peach consists of a Rei nurse figure, legs from a hentai figure and the head of a princess peach vinyl figure. The head of the princess had to be reshaped because the vinyl figure from Japan was horrible.

Kodykoala’s Custom Eggplant Wizard

Here is one of my submissions to Super Iam8bit. I wanted to do something that was different than my usual, and I have always had a soft spot for Eggplant wizard ever since Captain N. I used a Dragon Quest Dragon King vinyl figure for the body. The head was sculpted from Apoxy Sculpt, and the tiles were LEGO 2 x 2 tiles roughed up.

I am going to be in Super Iam8bit

I can’t believe that I was asked to contribute to Super Iam8bit. I was asked a few months ago, but I was told not to tell until it was officially announced. I am super excited. I love this art show, and I can’t believe that I am actually going to be a part of this major event! The event will open in Los Angeles on August 11, 2011 from 7pm to 11pm. They will be hosting the event at the recently renovated iam8bit headquarters in glorious Echo Park:

Special Item added to the Store

This is Obama as Megaman. I have wanted to do a custom Obama figure ever since I saw them, but I couldn’t figure out what to do with him. I had a bunch of Megaman parts lying around, so I thought this would be a great fit. I used a Jailbreak Toys Barack Obama figure and a vinyl Megaman Figure from Toys r’ Us.

New Items Added to the Store

I have just added five new items to my store. I have added Strongbadman, Crimson Chin, Ronald McDonald, Iceman, and Megaman. Kodykoala’s Custom Misty Seducing Ash

I love Pokemon! I have loved it all the way back from Red and Blue. I also love the cartoon, but one of the things that bothered me was that Misty and Ash always had some tension. I think they should of hooked up at the beginning, but I guess that would have made it boring.

This is how Misty should have gotten Ash’s attention. Here she is wearing colors that would suit a water gym leader. I used a Ash pokemon figure, a Misty figure’s hair, a hentai figure for the pose (I covered up the nudity to keep it PG-13), a Pikachu and a Mudkip figure. If you look closely, you will see that the tiles are painted to look like a pixelated pokeball.

Kodykoala Opens a Store for Customs

I have decided to open a store here on my website to sell my customs. I am tired of paying others fees to sell my item, so I am going to try to sell it from my website. You can get to the store with the navigator bar on the side, or just bookmark this link. I am also going to be going through some of my old customs and put a few up.

Kodykoala’s Custom Kirby Eating Mario

If you were to google image search Kirby, one of the first images you see is Kirby eating Mario from Smash Bros. Well I took this idea and went with it. The only thing I added was a Mario hat to make it seems like he was gaining Mario’s powers.

I used a vinyl Kirby from Japan and a vinyl Mario from a local Walmart. It was an easy custom, but I wanted to try something different with the painting. I wanted to play with the texture of the painting. The items stands about four inches tall and is about three inches in diameter. To see more pictures, go to My Flickr Page

I am trying something different this time around. I am going to try to sell my items via my own website instead of using others. I just want to see how well this works. KodyKoala’s Custom Cyborg Donkey Kong

Here is my custom Cyborg Donkey Kong. I have been wanting to do a Donkey Kong Custom for a while, but I have not been able to figure out what to do. I decided to make a Cyborg, taking my inspiration from Mario vs. Donkey Kong, hence the key in the back. I sort of wanted it to look like it had taken a bunch of battle damage trying to keep the Mario minis away.

I used a Donkey Kong Vinyl figure I got at Wal-mart, and the arms are from an Iron Monger Figure. The rest of the robot parts were left over parts and wires I had. If you would like to see more pictures, please visit My Flickr Page.
