Kodykoala’s Custom Zombie Pikachu

Zombie Pikachu

I have been working on this for a little while, and finally finished it. I found an old Pikachu Figure at Goodwill (the same one I used for Pikachewie) and I decided to give him the zombie treatment. Not too hard, just some Apoxy Sculpt. Currently this one is not for sale, but will probably be eventually.

Kodykoala’s Zombie Yoda Card Holder

Zombie Yoda

I gave my old business card holder to my Dad, so I needed a new one. I figured Zombie Yoda would work great. I used a Yoda Pepsi Cup lid that I found at Goodwill. I am not selling this one, but if you would like to have something similar made (I don’t do repeats), let me know. For more pictures, please go to My Flickr Page.

Custom Zombie Hunter Nerf Gun

Chainsaw Zombie Gun

Here is my latest custom gun. This is a Zombie hunters dream, with a chainsaw for up-close attacks, and a sniper rifle for long range attacks. This is a fully functional NERF gun with a modified clip. The clip can hold 12 shots. I had to cut the clip down to make if fit with the form of the gun.

If you would like to see more pictures, please go to My Flickr Page I will have this for sale next month when I go to ACE (Albuquerque Comic Expo) and if it doesn’t sell there, it will be posted here.

Kodykoala’s Custom Zombie Gameboy Color

Zombie Gameboy

After making the original Zombie Gameboy, I thought it would be interesting to make a gameboy color version. This was a commission that I completed a couple of weeks ago, and I thing this came out a lot better than the original. I used hands from a Cletus robot, and I used feet from a Minion from Megamind. This one is a lot more sturdy, and stands so much better. After doing this, I got some good ideas for some other non-zombie transformations for a gameboy.

If you would like to see more pictures, please go to My Flickr Page. I have been really busy with commissions lately, but I actually have a few ideas that I have also been working on, so hopefully I will get some time to complete these. If you would like to see what I am working on, please like me on Facebook.

Kodykoala’s Custom Juliet vs. Zombies

Juliet vs Disco Zombie

Here is Juliet done up in a Pinky Street Style. I was originally just going to do Juliet, but I thought she needed to have someone to kill. I found this great Disco Zombie, and I thought it worked with the Pinky Street Style.

I used Pinky Street parts for Juliet, a Disco Zombie from the PC game, and a bunch of LEGO tiles for the concrete. I really love the look of Pinky Street figures, but I hate the fact that the bodies are so flexible. I had to put in a wire inside Juliet’s body to make sure she stays standing up. I have had to actually go back and do this with all my Pinky Street Customs.

If you would like to see more pictures, please go to My Flickr Page. Unfortunately this is not for sale. I gifted it to Jessica Nigri so that she can help me spread the word about my customs. If you are interested in a custom figure, please email me at donald.c.kennedy2@gmail.com and we can work out a commission. I am booked until Christmas, so I cannot have anything made for Christmas of 2012, but if you are not on a time constraint, let me know. Thanks.

Kodykoala’s Pink Zombie Yoshi

Pink Zombie Yoshi

Here is my last commission piece. I really wanted to do something different with this one than the other two iterations. I was requested to keep the tongue, but I was free to do whatever else I wanted, so I had a little fun. My favorite part is the cute little worm coming out of the nose. I also love the one eye that looks sunken in.

If you are interested in having me do a commission, please email me at donald.c.kennedy2@gmail.com. To see more pictures, please go to My Flickr page.

Kodykoala’s Custom Zombie Peach’s Lair

Princess Peaches Lair

This was originally designed for a commission, but the money never came through. I know I already did Zombie Peach, but this is a bit different, and it has her latest victim Mario’s head. I wanted it to seem like she was at her zombie lair, so I put bones from other victims around her “dinner table.”

I used a hard to find vinyl Princess Peach figure from China, so I couldn’t remake this if I wanted to. The mushroom is actually from the same Peach figure, and the bones are from these skeletons I got from target this year at Halloween time.

Since I originally made this for a commission that fell through, I have put this up in My Store for the same price as the commission. If you want to see more pictures, please go to My Flickr Page.

Kodykoala’s Custom Zombie Gameboy

Zombie Gameboy

Here is a custom that was unexpected. I found an old Gameboy and I wanted to do something with it. While I was taking it apart, I was reminded of Gameboy from Captain N, and I thought it would be cool to make the screen a face. This Gameboy was really beat up to begin with, so I decided the Zombie motif would work with it.

The face is a printed piece of paper and is from Sparetype. The feet are from an Iron Man Mark I figure and the hands are from an Iron Monger Figure. I wanted to make it seem like it was bleeding, but since it is not human I used a metallic brown for blood instead. This stands about 6-7 inches. Kodykoala’s Custom Mario and Zombie Luigi

Mario and Zombie Luigi

I realized that I did not have a zombie scene with Mario in it. We all know that Mario would not get infected by any Zombie disease, but that is not going to stop zombie Luigi from trying to recruit is big bro. I wanted the Luigi to look almost exactly like the one that I did a while ago, and I had him attack his brother, but Mario was not unprepared. He comes equipped with a handgun, blade, and shotgun that is about to shoot off Luigi’s head.

I used 5″ vinyl figures and some weapons that I had lying around. The base was made with apoxy sculpt. If you would like to see more pictures, please go to My Flickr Page. If you are interested in purchasing this piece, it is for sale in My Customs Store.

Kodykoala’s Custom Zombie Luigi

zombie Luigi Figure

I guess even a giant mech of yourself can’t help you in the zombie apocalyse. He may be one of the last ones infected, but even Luigi is not immune. I used a 6″ vinyl Luigi that I picked up at WalMart and I drained the life out of him. I know some are wondering what happened to Mario, but I guess that is yet to be seen.

I think this is going to be the last Zombie I do for a little while. I have done my series and now I want to move on to something different. I also have one last Anatomy Sculpture that I just finished that I will be showing in a couple of weeks. I have a bunch of ideas for new things, so hopefully I don’t disappoint with the new stuff.
